Railways but no trains - 1 of 3

Pictures taken by ... myself on my travels .. showing the great variety that are railways.  I have lots of pictures with trains in them, but this series - over three days does not feature trains.  Just at or near railway stations.  For the UK ones, can you tell me the station; for the overseas ones, can you tell me the country and there's a bonus for the actual place.

14: Czech Republic; The eye-catching "classic" entrance hall to Praha hlavní nádraží /Prague Main Station. (Admittedly the background does give a bit of a clue!).

0 is at Paddington - specifically on the linking walkway in front of the Paddington Square building. Quite what it links, or will, I'm not sure; it mainly seems to block off Tanner Lane (what was London Street) where the change in ground level is now incompatible with it continuing.

4 - Italy (from "Trenitalia" in mirror image reflection in the glass!)

I had to think but - yes - that IS part of Italy.

11 Hastings?

Sorry - no.  Interesting to note several guesses here which (correctly) are British, but haven't identified the city it's in.

You are indeed past 24 hours - all comers welcome.  I will fill in those answered already on the original when back on a landline.

This is where I am at the moment:

2. Also the Czech Republic. The less aesthetically notable present day main entrance hall at Praha hlavní nádraží /Prague Main Station?

Yes indeed. The "whole" is very impressive with the historic station building sitting beside the platform tracks opening onto Platform 1, with the main road outside, and the modern station below the road - on several layers - amd opening out into a park that provides pedestrian flow around a square and into streets down towards the city.

Spot on.  A spot for a quiet tea or some other beverage just a short distance from the station.  A bit dull and windy when I was there (the weather, though the description may apply to me too, I suppose) but never the less some gulls, some ducks, and even the flash of a kingfisher.  And a row of cormorants which are pretty standard for the spot!
